This recipe is definitely a favorite of mine! I have been making this general recipe for the last several years, but have spent the last six months perfecting it and making it as healthy and delicious as I could before sharing it with all of you. It is simple to make, full of healthy omega-3 fatty acids and other nutrients, and a great choice for dinner. I hope you love it as much as I do!
Serves 2
Prep time: 10 minutes
Cook time: 15-20 minutes
Ingredients:
2 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
Glaze:
2 Tbsp soy sauce or tamari
1.5 Tbsp sesame seeds
2 tsp sesame oil
2 tsp dijon mustard
1 tsp tahini
1/2 tsp freshly grated ginger
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 400°F.
Combine the ingredients for the glaze in a small bowl and whisk until smooth.
Place the salmon fillets on a parchment paper lined baking sheet, and pour the glaze over them, making sure the fillets are entirely coated - even on the sides (I recommend using a pastry brush to accomplish this).
Place in the oven for 15-20 minutes or until the salmon is done.
*Note: I like to toss some vegetables in a little bit of olive oil and put it on the same pan as the salmon while they are cooking to have a quick and easy side dish!
