I was inspired to make this smoothie when I was in Saint Lucia and had so many amazing, delicious mangoes! Did you know that one cup of mango provides 100% of your daily vitamin C and over 1/3 of your vitamin A? The vitamin C from the mango also helps your body absorb the iron that is in the spinach! The blueberries, spinach, and almond butter also provide lots of antioxidants, fiber, healthy fats, and protein! Drink up!!
Serves: 1
Time: 5 minutes
Ingredients:
1 cup unsweetened almond milk
1 cup tightly packed spinach
1/2 cup frozen mango
1/2 cup frozen blueberries
1 scoop vanilla protein powder (try to find one without added sugar)
1 Tbsp almond butter
1/4 tsp local honey (optional)
Directions:
Combine all of the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
